We are Team Mercury Multisport (TMM), friends sharing the ideals of an active lifestyle and dedication to multisport adventure. Originating from a group of triathletes training for the 2001 Monster Challenge Triathlon in Boston, Team Mercury Multisport was founded in 2002 to meet the needs of beginner and advanced multisport adventure-seekers alike. The team welcomes athletes and individuals of all abilities and backgrounds. We are a team focused on active multisport adventure, including rock and ice climbing, high-altitude mountaineering, skiing, hiking, triathlon, kayaking, adventure racing, mountain biking, and much more. Our goals are active participation, knowledge sharing and collaborative support among team members and the greater community. We accomplish these goals through organized workouts and "TMM Events" that include trips into the backcountry, group support at races, multisport clinics, team socials, community volunteerism and in many other ways. Located in the Boston, Massachusetts area, TMM encourages participation in events nationwide as well as worldwide. We also enjoy interacting with other clubs, athletic associations, and individual athletes.

We hope you are enjoying a great month of June. We have a few morsels of training information for you this month that we hope you find helpful to you in your training:

Tri-Hard: May 2007 Update

Hello Team,
I hope that you are doing well. We have a few news items for you all.
1. Here (attached) is a new article we just wrote on injury prevention that some team members may enjoy reading. (Even though it is written to triathletes, much of the information is applicable to all athletes.) We hope you all find it interesting and helpful. Thank you.

Tri-Hard: March 2007 Update

Hello triathletes and other endurance athletes,

We have a few items for you this month:

1. Attached is an article we recently published in New England Sports entitled "Your First Triathlon". It is geared to a person who has never done a triathlon, and is looking to do their first. We give a basic 12-week training plan to get ready for a sprint-distance triathlon. Maybe someone you know would be interested in reading it? Maybe you can use it to help encourage someone you know to give triathlon a try? If so, please feel free
